The House

Situated in the heart of medieval Pleaux, "Les Ombrages" is the perfect destination for those seeking style, luxury and peace in the beautiful and unspoilt Haute Auvergne, whilst also having access to the numerous activities available in the town and surrounding countryside.

Beautifully restored and updated, the house is a large 19th century Maison Bourgeoise that has been arranged to give guests a truly special Chambres D'Hôtes experience.

Guests have their own large salon on the ground floor - a peaceful place to sit, read, or play games - as well as a breakfast room that can comfortably seat 14. In addition, the "mud room" is a popular place to sit and plan excursions, relax with a drink or sit by the wood burning stove on winter evenings whilst outdoor clothing and boots dry, in preparation for another days activities.

Outside, the garden at Les Ombrages is private and secure. There are sitting areas where guests can laze in peace or enjoy a picnic or BBQ during the summer, The garden also has plenty of space for games and a swing to keep younger family members happily occupied.

In addition, a twin bedded room overlooking the garden gives parents the ability to have their children nearby, whilst enjoying their own privacy. This room has a separate wc and shower room, just down the corridor.

The house is centrally heated and double glazed. Secure parking within the grounds is available and parking is also available directly alongside the house in Place d'Empeyssine.
